Shrubs are a vital component in the landscape picture, and often overlooked in terms of pruning. The shearing of shrubs in the landscape is not the healthiest practice for shrubs. Shearing gives a formal or groomed look but concentrates the foliage on the perimeter or the outside of the plant. Over time holes can begin to appear in the perimeter causing an unsightly appearance.



We recommend a healthier approach which will prolong the life of your shrubs. We remove undesirable branches such as dead and diseased wood, insect ridden branches and in some cases old growth. This practice will promote new healthy growth.
